Reading Joanna Bryson's 2007 Embodiment vs. Memetics from Mind & Society I was struck by this image.
Most specifically, I'm struck by how closely it resembles Rondfeldt's (1994) networked society diagram.
There is something very much here about designing language, culture, meaning making, networked societies and relationships in an age of entanglement.
